Our mission is to improve and save animal lives by promoting quality care, compassion and education.

The dogs in our rescue come to us from shelters or from homes when the owners can no longer keep them. Each dog is assessed for temperament and suitability for adoption prior to being accepted into rescue.

Our dogs live in foster homes where they have time to decompress before meeting prospective adopters. This critical time helps us to get to understand each dog’s personality and training needs and importantly allows the dogs to heal and otherwise rebound from any difficulties imposed in their previous life. Most of our foster homes have resident dogs to help with socialization.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (rabies, distemper and Bordetella) and are microchipped prior to adoption.

When a dog is ready for a new home we post them on our website and reach out via social media providing photos and specific information on the dog’s energy level, compatibility with other animals and general personality traits.

We adopt out our dogs to individuals and families in the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Monterey, Sacramento, San Benito, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and Solano Counties.
